Rifle and Pistol Adventures
Ever wanted to shoot a real AK47? How about taking aim with an M4 Carbine like the ones used by our Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan? Ever wanted to see what its like to shoot an Old West .45 Long Colt revolver or a Model 1894 Lever Action Winchester?
Join us for one of our Shooting Adventures. Even if you've never held a gun before, our expert instructors will guide you through the required safety training and the basics of each weapons system, first in a group setting and then one-on-one when you shoot.
During the Shooting Adventure...
In each Shooting Adventure, you'll have the opportunity to put rounds down range using the firearm of your choice. Our knowledgable instructors will be there to answer questions, give you shooting tips and make sure that everything stays safe.
At the end of the shooting session, we'll compare targets and award the top three shooters with valuable prizes including gift cards and discount certificates. Bragging rights are also included! We'll also make pictures of you during your Shooting Adventure and email them to you free of charge on request!
After-Action Chow and Beverages...
After the shooting action is done, we'll head to a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch and liquid refreshments (adult and non-alcoholic). There you can toast to your shooting exploits and mingle with your fellow sharpshooters.
What to Bring...
We supply everything you need including the firearms, ammo, targets, eye protection, hearing protection and refreshments at the range, a delicious lunch and two drink tickets for the libation of your choice at a nearby restaurant where we will gather as a group. Since we do our Shooting Adventures outdoors, you should dress appropriately for the weather. Our events happen "rain or shine". We highly recommend that you wear your favorite 'shooting hat', bring your sunglasses and avoid wearing sandals or flip-flops.
Schedule of Events…
Our Shooting Adventures start at 10:00am on either a Saturday or Sunday morning. Registration begins at 9:00am and includes complementary coffee and snacks. The safety briefing begins promptly at 10:00am. Once the safety briefing begins we cannot accept any additional shooters for that session.
Once the safety briefing is complete, we teach you the background and operation of the different firearms that you will shoot. Before you know it, time to shoot! Pistol shooters will shoot on a 25 yard range while our Rifle shooters will shoot on a 100 yard range. The shooting session ends around 12:00pm.
Lunch follows immediately after the Shooting Adventure. We supply you with your lunch voucher, drink tickets and directions to our nearby restaurant location. At the restaurant, a private area is set up for our group. You'll dine, drink and share stories about your marksmanship excellence! The event usually wraps up by around 2:00pm.
Pricing:
Rifle and Pistol Adventures are $299 per person. All Arizona Shooting Adventures include use of our broad selection of firearms, all required ammo and safety gear, refreshments at the range, lunch with complementary beverages (beer, wine and soft drinks) and emailed digital photos of each shooter. Rifle Only or Pistol Only Adventures are available on request.
The Fine Print:
Participants must be 21 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian. Signature of a liability waiver is required for all participants. Participants must be of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages if issued adult beverage vouchers.
Advanced reservations are required for all participants. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Credit towards future Shooting Adventures may be offered at our sole discretion. Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted on the range. Unsafe behavior or horseplay with firearms will result in immediate ejection from the Shooting Adventure.
