You just bought a handgun...now what? Take the Basic Pistol Course where you will learn the basics and become comfortable with your new weapon.
This 10 hour course deals with the basic knowledge, skills and
attitudes necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Through this course, attendees will learn about pistol parts and
operation, ammunition, gun safety and shooting fundamentals.
This is a hands-on class with a strong emphasis on safe gun
handling. Upon successful completion this course attendees
receive NRA Basic Pistol certification. A minimum of 50
rounds of ammunition is required for this course.
Once you've finished the Basic Pistol Course you need to move on to the next course in your development, Arizona CCW Permit course.
